New Grants Support SPPPPR

The Adolph Coors Foundation awarded SPPPPR $13,000 for general operating expenses. The Colorado Springs Utilities Community Focus Fund provided $2,000 for the printing of “SAFE:SENIOR” brochures. This is the third year of a Colorado Trust grant initiative, which provides SPPPPR with $50,000 per year.

SPPPPR received $1,000 from the El Pomar-sponsored El Pomar Youth in Community Service (EPYCS) grant program, in which high schools consider projects in the community and award grants to those they choose through a student review community. This year, Air Academy High School awarded SPPPPR the $1,000 through their review committee.
